Auto updating allows the application to update itself. This is useful for fixing bugs and releasing new features automatically, without the need of on the ground manual updates.

Every 10 minutes the application will look for an update. If it finds one it will download it. You can debug this process by opening up Chrome Dev Tool using MDM Solution > Toggle Developer Tools or pressing Ctrl + Alt + I

Should the updater key expire or be revoked, you can override the default key by clicking Auto Updater > Change updater key or pressing Alt + I .

Change updater key

You can enter a new key with the dialog below, this will override the default key. You can change the key by submitting the form.

Entering the wrong key will completely destroy the ability of the application to be updated automatically.

If the key entered is wrong, you can reset it by clicking the purple reset button.
